Applications open for 25 Pitt County businesses for new small business grants
GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – Pitt County business owners can apply for additional funding with a new wave of grants.

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – Pitt County business owners can apply for additional funding with a new wave of grants.
The Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce and Optimum have announced they are accepting applications for a new wave of grants for small businesses. The Lifting Up Small Business Grants campaign will award 25 small businesses with $5,000 each for long-term growth.
The applications for this grant are now open and can be found here.
According to the release, the winners will be announced later this year and Optimum Business will host a recognition event with the winners and key business partners.
“Our small businesses are at the heart of what makes Greenville and Pitt County such a vibrant, connected community,” said Trent McGee, President and CEO of the Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce. “We’re honored to join Optimum Business in this effort to uplift and invest in our entrepreneurs and small business owners who shape our community, create jobs, and bring unique value to the places we call home.”
